Barry Bonds Hits 734th HR - Breaks Aaron's NL Record
Love him or hate him (I would choose the latter), Barry Lamar Bonds can flat hit a baseball. Tonight he hit HR number 734 and broke Hank Aaron's NL record. It was a blast off of Milwaukee Brewers Chris Capuano in the third inning at Miller Park. It seems a little ironic that Aaron ended his career with the, then AL, Brewers. The Giants lost the game 10-8. The 42 year old Bonds has 26 HR's for the season and needs just 21 more homers to pass Aaron's all-time record of 755 HR's.
